We chose not to file for a 501(C3) because there are too many non-profits with the morals of a shark in a feeding frenzy when it comes to extracting profits from the consumer public.

There are many government programs and charities that help senior citizens but none of them provide permanent solutions. There are literally hundreds of overlapping government funded programs and nonprofits.

The Federal Assets Sales and Transfer Act of 2016 requires the federal government to make unused properties available to help the homeless.  Over 15 million American homes — approximately 10% of the country's housing inventory — are vacant.
 

The federal government owns more than 250,000 homes and around 80,000 buildings that are underutilized or not used at all. The problem is "the government doesn’t even know how much unused property it owns.
